Financial Literacy Seminar:Identity Theft 101ONLINE SEMINAR | JUNE 21ST | 10 AM Presented by Melissa Colon, Financial Education Specialist,Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union REGISTER Managing Money in Times of Uncertainty & Crisis Unfortunately, becoming a victim of identity theft is less a matter of “if” and more a question of “when”. We designed this seminar as a proactive tool to help you be on guard against becoming a victim rather than simply hoping it doesn’t happen. We will cover common identity theft practices, how your information can be obtained, and what you can do to protect yourself. We’ll also talk about financial abuse and common financial scams. Melissa Colon is a certified union financial counselor and has been the Financial Education Specialist at MHV since February 2022. Melissa has 15+ years’ experience working in community development, working with community based organizations and school districts.  |

Just a Reminder for BHA Tenants ~ T-Mobile Third Party Services Charges

Any Tenant currently using the T-Mobile Tablet provided by BHA should be aware of the following:
1- It is the Tenants responsibility to pay for all “Third Party Services” ordered by the User of the Tablet.
2- BHA will not cover the cost of Third Party Services, and will only cover the costs outlined in the agreement between Tenant and BHA.
Several Tenants have charged Third Party Services to their tablets and have not paid for these services directly. BHA has been in touch with T-Mobile and those services will be cancelled immediately and charges will be reversed.
If you are ordering special programs, games, movies, etc on the Tablet you will have to pay for those services up front. You will no longer be allowed to order Third Party Services on the Tablet
