• Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines: Get vaccinated and boosted.
• Wear a face mask in public indoor settings where vaccine status is not known.
• Get tested if you have symptoms, were exposed, traveled or were at a large event.

Stay home if sick.
If you are unvaccinated or are at high risk for severe COVID-19 illness, or if working, living or interacting with high-risk individuals, take additional precautions (for example, avoid crowded indoor and outdoor settings).

TODAY’S DAILY INSPIRATION ~ Anna Wintour

Quote Image - Desktop Image

Boasting a legendary career as the editor-in-chief of Vogue and global chief content officer for Condé Nast, journalist and media power player Anna Wintour has always been focused on the future. For more than three decades, Wintour’s forward-thinking vision has shaped the culture and business of style — she’s responsible for merging fashion with celebrity and popular culture, and solidifying Vogue as one of the world’s most influential magazines while transforming it for the digital age. (The sight of a sunglasses-clad Wintour in the front row of any runway show is both a seal of approval and a terrifying test for any designer.) The British-born titan (a Dame of the British Empire) is also the longtime mastermind and host of the prestigious Met Gala, a glamorous, star-studded fundraising event benefiting the Costume Institute at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. “Fashion’s biggest night” showcases the latest in cutting-edge design and creativity, giving a peek at the aesthetics of the future.

Attention Residents of Forrestal Heights High Rise Building

It has come to the attention of BHA Management that someone has been urinating at the very bottom of Stairwell “A”. There have been several incidents over the past two weeks where urine was discovered by tenants who were exiting the building or going to the laundry room. BHA is very concerned about this and wants this behavior to stop.

It is a health hazard which in addition to the unsanitary element and stench, can also lead to someone slipping, falling, and seriously injuring themselves.

If the person involved in this matter is subject to incontinence BHA will offer resources to address this issue. However, if the person is not suffering from incontinence but is simply inconsiderate of his fellow residents then this warrants a different response.

At this time BHA is asking anyone with knowledge of this incident to contact the office. Although we are Public Housing we pride ourselves in maintaining a safe, sanitary, and livable environment.

Thank you

BHA Management

TODAY’S DAILY INSPRIATION ~ RZA

Quote Image - Desktop Image

Born Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, RZA (pronounced “rizza”) is effectively the leader of the Wu-Tang Clan, one of the most influential hip-hop groups for almost 30 years. During most of that time, RZA has also studied Shaolin kung fu, and his love of music and martial arts have coalesced in many cinematic projects. RZA costarred in Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (1999), composed the score for Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003), and directed The Man With the Iron Fists (2012). With this quote, the artist attributes success to pursuing your curiosities and passions, and staying true to your inner nature.
