Hi Beacon; it’s Mayor Lee Kyriacou with a quick upbeat update on COVID masking requirements.
Governor Hochul just announced that, effective today, Thursday February 10th, the State of New York will no longer require mandatory masking in indoor public spaces—including businesses, government and other indoor places. Masking is still required for schools, at least for now, and also for hospitals and other health facilities. Business owners still have the the right to set rules regarding masking for their facilities; so please be respectful of their decisions.
